Introduction: Hello! My name is Vaughn and I’m a certified Personal Trainer, Health Coach, and owner of Higher Purpose Fitness LLC. Health and Wellness has always been my passion and runs deep in my family. My Mom has been a Registered Nurse for over thirty years and my sister is a Physical Therapist. I am a former athlete and played Basketball and Football. When I was growing up, I used to listen to my Mom’s stories about the different health issues that her patients had and I started to ask myself how can I make a difference. Fast forward to present day, I decided to combine my love for fitness and my desire to help people. Thus, Higher Purpose Fitness was born. My goal is to help people live longer lives better so that they can be active with their grand kids, achieve someone’s weight loss goals, or just to feel more confident in the skin they are in. I offer individual, partner training, and group session packages. Very competitive and affordable rates.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Fitness consultation will always take place before I train a client to gauge where they are in their fitness journey. A fitness assessment takes place during this consultation where the potential client is taken through a range of tests to observe strength, flexibility, mobility, functional movements, and more. This consultation is free.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Personal Trainer, Health Coach, and Nutritionist through ISSA
