Camille is a miracle worker! She has effectively designed a workout plan that has allowed for physiological changes for problems that I was unaware of, but that were causing pain and limitation that I was very much aware of! She has supported me mentally through the pain of working through scarring and locked up joints to restore athletic function. Camille has pushed me to make progress that I can not only see, and is shocking my friends and family, but that most importantly, I can feel. I have more strength, balance, and renewed ability for my sport and lifestyle (Competition and training in equine performance) than I thought I was capable of. She continues to open doors for me with her thoughtful, educated, and seemingly magical perception of physically re-educating the human body to carry itself properly without undue damage to itself. She possesses the knowledge and the integrity to not train for results that would actually cause long term problems, even if it means patiently working for weeks with less visible effect at first. Once the issue is resolved, and the body is able to handle heavier training, results are instantaneous due to improved ability, and with less pain and stress. She is warm, kind, and epically funny, allowing me to look forward to every work out. I don't think that, without her wonderful people skills and friendship, that I could have handled coming to workouts again and again. I look forward to each one and am so disappointed if I have to cancel. She has always been prompt and prepared, and no workout is the same. She is the ultimate coach and an amazing advocate for healthy lifestyle and mental health. Camille's professionalism makes it easy for me to trust her with the most important thing I have, my body! I started training with Camille’s Fitness in February 2017. From the moment I met Camille, I knew she was the person that could help me achieve my goals and also the one that would help change my life for the better. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My prices vary. The basic price is $75/hr there is also $60 for 45min sessions. I do give discounts for couples training as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First we meet for a consultation to evaluate fitness level. We talk about your goals and prior history. We go over your current daily regimen and eating behavior as well as medication and supplements. Blood work is sometimes necessary. I write out a program and you let me know whether you think I’m a good fit for your goals. Just like in any relationship you have to feel a connection. There are multiple trainers for every personality. So I never get offended if you don’t think I’m the right person for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?MS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh and currently pursuing my doctorate in Health and Physical Activity. I am Nutritionist Certified through Precision Nutrition. Titliest Performance Institute Golf Fitness Instructor Certified Poliquin BioSignature Modulation certified. Gary Gray Functional Training Certified. ACSM Clinical Exercise Specialist Certified. AFAA Group Fitness Instructor Certified.
