Carla was nice to my dog and pretty patient when the dog started to squirm. I've never been there when other groomers groomed the dog, so I don't know how this compares.Mar 27, 2019VerifiedCarla's Pet Grooming's reply
Thank you, Lee.
Laiken was wonderful with my girls and she did a great job of grooming.Sep 12, 2019VerifiedCarla's Pet Grooming's reply
Hello, Marj. My name is Carla and you left a review on my Thumbtack page by mistake. I am not the groomer who groomed your dogs. You might want to repost the review on the correct site so your groomer gets the credit for her work. Thank you.
My grooming experience with this groomer was absolutely terrible. She was older and forgetful got easily frustrated with my older shih Tzu. my dog is 17 years old and I have never had a groomer tell me that she was difficult ever. I do not recommend this groomerOct 4, 2019Verified
Carla was gentle and careful with my Shih Tzu. She was skillful and even showed me tips on how to maintain my fur baby until the next appointment. I highly recommend her for dogs with special needs like mine who has separation anxiety.Mar 15, 2019Carla's Pet Grooming's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is based on the difficulty of the groom such as behavior and coat condition. There is also a time and distance factor since I am a house call groomer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I come into the client’s home bringing all the tools needed for the work. I would need a sink/tub to do the bath and one outlet for the dryer and clipper. I bathe, clip, cut and grind nails, clean ears and style.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I went to the New York School of Dog Grooming in 1994. Studying with groomers who show at Westminster taught me what each breed should look like. I learned many pet hygiene and safety practices as well.
