FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The videos online are helpful to see how a new device comes apart. I just took a course last fall, but I'm sure as new technology evolves I'll have to keep up to date.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My daughter went through 3 phones in a year and nothing that happened to them was covered by the insurance she was paying for. When she wanted to have them repaired, there was no one we could find in our area that could do it. I've always been good with small electronics, so I decided that this was a service I could provide that the Clearfield area needed.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I end up replacing a lot of cracked screens. That seems to be the most common repair followed by broken charging ports and power buttons. Just when I think I've done it all though, someone finds a way to break something new.
