Here’s what to expect from The Percolators:
When you walk into your event space, you will be transported to the storied streets of New Orleans. The ambience will feel like you and
your guests are partying on Bourbon St. The music is infectious!
People will have fun and communicate their pleasure to you with their compliments. You will be pleased that the band has arrived on time and set up efficiently. Also, you will like the professional way the band’s equipment appears on stage.
You may also feel relieved to know that, even though the band plays with energy, should you need to make an announcement, toast a
guest (be honored yourself), or sing “Happy Birthday,” we will happily accommodate you.
In consideration of your guests, we are sensitive to volume and will make sure everyone can talk comfortably. On the other hand, If you want us to pump up the volume, increase the funk or find a mellow groove, we can do that, too!
Most importantly, our performance will help create joyful memories. We like to say, “Bon Temps Partie!”- and a good-time party it will be.

The Percolators are not the least expensive band on “Thumbtack."That’s a good thing- do you really want something less for your important event?
Or would you rather have an event that sounds and feels as amazing as you deserve?
In fact, the music director, Jann Glider, was at two events this year and observed problems that can occur when inattentive bands are hired. In the first, the band's playing appeared uninspired and the band members seemed more interested in talking to their girl-friends (who they brought with them against the wishes of the party host) than playing songs for their audience. In the second, at a wedding no less, the band played so loud, no one could hold a conversation
over them.
This will never happen with the Percolators. You are not just a client to us, we will make sure your needs are seen, heard and valued.
The founder of The Percolators, Jann Glider has been playing guitar and performing in bands for over 50 years. Several have opened for nationally known Rock and Blues artists like The Alman Brothers, Buddy Guy, Edgar Winter and Leon Russel, Roy Buchannon, Son Seals and others.
He started The Percolators to fill a gap in the local music scene in the Philadelphia area by creating a powerhouse band of accomplished musicians who love New Orleans music and
could deliver it with passion, authenticity and joy. The band’s reason for being is to spread the ‘joie de vive” that is at the heart of the greatest party in the world: Mardi Gras!
