I, Andres Reyes, am the president of Universal Properties Realty and director of the top real estate company all around the island of Puerto Rico, including Viequez and Culebra.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you are looking for a broker in Puerto Rico, before hiring, see that they have an office, that they work with peers in co-broke, see that they have the required licenses and please, see the certifications. So far I have all existing certifications, but my experience, extensive marketing, amount of assets, agents and locations around the island are the key of my success. Not forgetting God's blessings.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Clear facts leave no doubts, that's how we work. If you are looking to but a property or want to sell it, let us tell you and show you the market trends and facts that may help or affect the sale. We also do BPO's, to fulfill the market trend data for your reviews.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How many properties you sale a year?
How many offices you have?
Are you fully licensed?
Are you covered to protect me in the sales in case of a law suit?
Do you have the market data that will tell me were my property is in terms of value and sale time?
Do you know the bank products, the requirements and how to fulfilled them?
