Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Here at cheyenne farm kennel we don't just breed our dogs to sell , they are all family members and each have their own specific owner and someone to love them. Because we breed pups we are out in kennel with moms, when they are away from there owners, (my kids, brother and grandchildren) playing, feeding and just hanging out with them. Therefore our Boarding customers are not just out by themselves they have interaction with my family and staff daily. The best thing about my job is seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they take their pups home. With my boarding customers it is great that i have repeat customers for years and they are like a extended family.

We had lost our 2 long time puppy friends at age 17 1/2 and 16 1/2. When we began our search for new friends to share our lives with we came across Cheyenne Farm Kennel. We were always "big" dog people but we found ourselves looking at Cheyenne Farm Kennel's Pomeranians. We never thought that we would be "little" dog people. The Poms stole our hearts. We took 2 twin girl poms home with us. These little balls of fuzz brought so much joy into our hearts that 9 months later, while picking the girls up after boarding, at Cheyenne Farm Kennel we decided to bring a little boy home to share our lives. Cheyenne Farm Kennel Poms have the best temperment and oh my gosh are they smart!! They make us laugh. They are truly family dogs. They long to just be with us and share every moment of our family life. Great company!! The boarding facilities at Cheyenne Farm Kennel are second to none. Each time we have been there the kennel area has been spotless, the boarders appear happy and content and best of all NO "kennel odor". Terry and her family are the best!! We would highly recommend Cheyenne Farm Kennel to anyone that is searching for that special friend or looking for a safe/secure and loving boarding facility. Our pups are now 4 1/2 years old and we only have positive things to say about our experience with Cheyenne Farm Kennel.

Where shall I begin? The first day I met Okie, my precious female? Or with Baily, her laid-back, mellow sibling? These are the BEST dogs. We first wanted just one Golden Retriever, as we had lost our long time buddy, Lucas. I chose Okie & it was love at first sight! But while we were waiting to pick her up, my husband decided he'd really like to have a male too. Well, as destiny would have it, Baily was the last male left. And we couldn't be happier with either of our choices. As I said, Baily is "Mr. Mellow" and Okie is our "alpha dog" - the instigator. They both did very well with their training and we get SO MANY compliments on how well trained they are. In fact, they were complimented by natives of Nantucket as the best behaved dogs on the ferry - both ways. Boy, were we proud! These guys are great with people - they love them, both children & adults. They are very gentle and just love to be petted. Anyone who chooses one of Terry's goldens will be more than happy - they will have a lifelong friend. PS The kennel is IMMACULATE! Terry is very fussy, very clean & secure. Anyone who boarded there would be very happy.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We clean our kennel twice a day, we do not use commercial cleaners , we use household cleaners that are safe for my grandkids to be around. We keep our kennel very clean and we are inspected yearly. Our puppies are washed and kept very clean.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I always tell people for boarding to make sure you can tour facility, if the person does not want to show you where your dog will stay then do not go there. For puppy buying , make sure you see the parents, if they do not want to show parents BAD SIGN. ask for reference or check out the website and see if their are testimonials. make sure there are health guarantees for your pups. I firmly believe it is better to buy from a breeder NOT A PET STORE or even just a family breeder. Who knows in 2 or 3 years if that family breeder will be there for your questions in the future.
