"We moved into a new home in the summer of 2007. We moved our furniture from a previous house and bought some new pieces. However we had no window treatments, and so we asked Katrina to create some window treatments for the two rooms that would go with the existing decor.
Katrina talked with me at length about the style of window treatment I wanted for the living room and dining room. What impressed me the most was that she listened very closely to me and so it seemed in the end she was almost able to read my mind. At one point I admired a detail in one of the upholstered chairs in my living room. Lo and behold, the detail was echoed in the custom drapes she created for me in that room! At every stage she consulted with me, showing me fabrics and telling me what she had in mind. She designed and created window treatments that are totally unique and always elicit compliments from visitors who see them for the first time. I will also add that the window treatments bring out the best in the furniture in those rooms and enhance the lighting at different times of day. Since we loved her work for us (in our living room and dining room) several years earlier, we asked Katrina to help us to remodel one of our bedrooms, to be used both as a guest room and when my daughter needed it on visits home from college.The room needed to be completely redone. We didn't even know where to start to update the room and make it comfortable for guests.
Katrina consulted with us on the paint colors and choice of a rug, and created an entirely new space that was both inviting and sophisticated.
