Roy came over to meet my folks, and to take a look at their desk they wanted fixed up. It is a very old piece (my folks are 85 and 87), and Roy gave some good advice about how it should be handled. I did not get any impression that he was anything but honest and fair. He spent quite some time visiting. He is very personable. My parents liked him right away, and hired him. He picked it up early in February, and had it about 10 days. He returned it last week, and the desk looks beautiful! My dad worked for Drexel Furniture Company in North Carolina as a young man, so he has an appreciation for good wood. He was very impressed with Roy's work on the desk. Roy's dad came with him to help deliver the desk, and my parents enjoyed meeting him also. I would highly recommend this man to do your refinishing job. You will be happy.
