I worked with Uxbridge Carvers several years ago to create a custom sign for a neighborhood project. They did an outstanding job and were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They offered expert advice on the sign's style and design and, once we settled on the details, they demonstrated outstanding craftmanship in the creation of a beautifully carved and painted sign that will stand the test of time. One of the best things about Uxbridge Carvers is their willingness to work with out-of-state customers. We transacted all our business over the telephone and by FAX and e-mail and then, ultimately, they carefully and conscientiously packaged the sign up for transport from Rhode Island to Washington DC. Uxbridge Carvers offered outstanding customer service every step of the way. Even two years after I had received and installed the sign, they were still helpful. A vandal had scratched part of the sign's enamel with a sharp object. When I called Uxbridge Carvers for the enamel's color and manufacturer so I could buy a can and touch up the damage, they volunteered to send me a can instead! All in all, Bill Walsh and Uxbridge Carvers were a pleasure to work with and I don't hesitate to recommend them.Mar 10, 2014
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?In order to request a quote a few things have to be established. What are the rough dimensions of the sign ? Will the sign be one sided or two sided ? What do you want the sign to say ? Are there any graphics you'd like to see on your sign ?
