We're a boutique General Contractor & Real Estate Brokerage with a passion for tiny homes, off-grid living, permaculture, animal husbandry and unique construction projects. Our team can handle all your construction and maintenance needs, including small handyman projects, full remodels, and ground-up design-build construction. We specialize in custom built tiny homes, ADUs and cabins. Our Owner & President, Matt Kirchoff, was raised in Wisconsin by two career Real Estate Brokers, and his experiences in construction, remodeling and sales/marketing started as soon as he could swing a hammer. Matt served for 8 years in the Army Corps of Engineers as a Heavy Construction Equipment Sergeant, with one deployment to Afghanistan during OEF VII in 2006. Matt holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from UW Madison with an emphasis in mechanical & electrical building systems, and an Executive MBA from the UWM Lubar School of Business. Matt was great. I had him complete some minor repairs that came up in an inspection while selling my property. I need him to do it while I wasn’t physically there at the property. He made the process easy by communicating upfront what he planned to do, and made sure to communicate as new issues came up. I’d work with him again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm not going to be the lowest cost provider you can find. I have an attention to detail unrivaled by most, and I'm very efficient with my time. If I'm unable to tackle a project.... I'm not going to beat around the bush and lead you on.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like the opportunity to connect over email/phone to best understand your project scope and what factors are most important to you. Of course this is less critical with smaller projects, although I appreciate the time to discuss and make sure I'm a good fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW Madison, and an Executive MBA from the Milwaukee Lubar School of Business. I'm a licensed Real Estate Broker in Wisconsin & California, as well as a licensed Home Inspector in Wisconsin. I've taken extensive classes in all types of welding processes, and I served 8 years in the US Army Corps of Engineers as a Heavy Construction Equipment Sergeant.
