Matt served for 8 years in the Army Corps of Engineers as a Heavy Construction Equipment Sergeant, with one deployment to Afghanistan during OEF VII in 2006. Matt holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from UW Madison with an emphasis in mechanical & electrical building systems, and an Executive MBA from the UWM Lubar School of Business. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm not going to be the lowest cost provider you can find. I have an attention to detail unrivaled by most, and I'm very efficient with my time. If I'm unable to tackle a project.... I'm not going to beat around the bush and lead you on.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like the opportunity to connect over email/phone to best understand your project scope and what factors are most important to you. Of course this is less critical with smaller projects, although I appreciate the time to discuss and make sure I'm a good fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW Madison, and an Executive MBA from the Milwaukee Lubar School of Business. I'm a licensed Real Estate Broker in Wisconsin & California, as well as a licensed Home Inspector in Wisconsin. I've taken extensive classes in all types of welding processes, and I served 8 years in the US Army Corps of Engineers as a Heavy Construction Equipment Sergeant.
