Shawn responded to my Thumbtack post almost immediately. His communications prior to the job being completed were both professional and personal. In the end, it was this quick, professional and friendly communication that led me to hire him. The job I hired him for was a repair to the basement sink drain. The old copper pipe was corroded and basically fell off the bottom of the sink. Shawn arrived less than an hour after I called him (something I really appreciate), took a look at the sink and knew immediately what needed to be done. Within another hour, he had the drain re-worked with PVC and working like a champ. No leaks thus far! Overall, I would definitely hire Shawn again, hands down. His work is professional grade and he's easy to work with.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they are licensed. Usually an in licensed guy does not know what it takes to do a job properly.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I take my profession seriously, but more importantly I take my customers satisfaction even more serious. Unfortunately not every job goes well. If any problems occur to the work I did after I leave I am more than happy to come back and fix it.
