Paradiso Photography is a must! Went to her looking for her to capture my proposal and she was the best. Super professional and so easy to work with. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my quotes to my clients are flat rates based on the information that was provided/stated in the request by the customer. I truly prefer to speak to my clients to get a better understanding of the session and can then confirm that the quoted price matches the session accurately.
Booking a wedding photographer can be a tough task, I try to make it easy and smooth for my clients. I offer discounts on Engagement sessions when you book your wedding with me :)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we will communicate over the phone as a first introduction and to discuss the photography session needed. If the customer would like to book my services I will email a contract to them. If it's a wedding session I recommend meeting in person (if possible) to have the chance to get a better feel for what kind of photography style my clients are interested in and to further discuss the wedding. Lastly, a week before each wedding I'll call to confirm all the fine details once more.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a high school student I had the opportunity to travel to Italy and France, I managed to use about 30 rolls of film and after they were developed I found that I had a major passion for capturing the beauty of the world around us, that we sometimes take for granted. When I capture memories for my clients it's a very rewarding, emotional experience. Life is short and moves too fast, make it important to have a snapshot of the important things in your life (I can help you with that!)
