- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phase 1 - Strategy & Site Definition Defining the "Site-Map" (pages) for your site is the critical first step in any successful website project. To do this we will review your initial wish list of content and discuss other areas of content you may not have considered, but perhaps should. This will ensure all possibilities have been discussed and you are confident in proceeding to the next phase. In addition, any third party applications and custom programming will be defined and discussed. Phase 2 - User Interface Design Page layouts and navigation placement will be established by us creating “Grey Screen” layouts of the applicable pages of your website. This is done prior to incorporating the actual design template that will have continuity with your current brand and overall image of your business or practice. Phase 3 - Content Deliverables At this phase we address the content needed to populate the pages of the approved master template. We will also define your role in this process and critical delivery dates of photos, video, copy and any other elements needed. Phase 4 - Programming & CMS Integration Custom feedback forms, content management system integration (CMS), as well as other features related to your website require coding in order to function properly. Phase 5 - Hosting Once your website is created it needs to be hosted on a server in order to be accessible via the internet. Our servers are state-of-the-art and are backed up on a regular basis. We also configure your e-mail accounts associated with your domain name. You can view detailed website traffic statistics, access web-mail and check your e-mail at any computer terminal with internet access. We will also configure your e-mail accounts as part of our hosting services. Phase 6 - Promoting It doesn't matter how great your website is if no one visits it. Over the years we have learned the most effective methods for generating web traffic. The basics including meta-tag generation, home page optimization and search engine submission, all of which are included as part of our process. You will be asked to participate in helping us define the right key-words and description of your product or service. Phase 7 - Reporting Now you can utilize our reporting tools to inform you of your website's performance. Detailed website statistics enable you to view the performance of your website by tracking what pages visitors have been looking at, the time of day they visited, what key-word they entered to find you and more. These reports are vital for evaluating marketing efforts. Statistics are generated on the fly and can be accessed at any time via a link provided to you. Phase 8 - Post Launch Follow-up To ensure your complete satisfaction and understanding, we will meet with you at the projects conclusion. At this meeting topics generally covered include: CMS training, On-site e-mail account set-ups, questions you may have and additional online marketing strategies.
