I had a fantastic experience with George - he was quick to respond and knew exactly how to solve our issue (needed more and the right kind of outlets for some new appliances). The work was super clean and well done even though it was just in the basement - I appreciated that George treated such a simple job with real care and professionalism. Can not recommend more highly!

If I could give George 10 stars I would!! He came exactly the time he said he would. His prices were fair. His work was excellent and he was very neat!! He installed a new ceiling light and 3 GFI outlets…very happy with his work! Highly recommend!
Mr. Johnson was very professional. He showed up when he said and communicated with the office every step of the way. We look forward to hiring him for our next electricalrepair service.

Power went out in my kitchen. George quickly diagnosed the decision and provided the solution. He decided to dead end the cables that was causing the short circuit & the power came back on in the kitchen. Furthermore, he was punctual & gave a fair price. I would recommend him again for future electrical work.

In my profession I’ve worked with many electricians. George is very knowledgeable and extremely honorable. You can tell he’s been doing it a very long time. He deduced the problem thoroughly and gave me a price. When he did the job we ran into some unforeseen complications. He still stuck to the original price we agreed to even though the extra required adjustments used quite a bit more time. He also improved other aspects of our home’s electrical system in the process. He is an exceptional electrician.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$75 per hour is my base rate, adjusted according to the degree of difficulty of the job. For instance, I will deduct 10% if simply working in the living room and a ladder is not needed. 10% will be added if the work is in extreme hot or cold.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to know who referred you to me.
A phone conversation with new customers helps me to familiarize myself with their project and to learn a convenient time to look at the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
1000 hours of classroom education and 8000 hours of on-the-job training as an apprentice with IBEW Local 99 were required before receiving my RI Journeymans License in 1981. Two years later I obtained my RI Electrical Contractor's License.
