- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Freedom Shield Legal, I offer both flat-rate and hourly pricing depending on the nature of the legal work. Flat-rate services are available for well-defined matters like business formation, contract drafting, and document preparation. For ongoing or complex matters, I bill hourly. I am transparent with all pricing up front - there are no hidden fees - and I always work with clients to find a structure that fits their needs and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts with a free consultation to understand the client’s goals, needs, and the legal scope of the matter. From there, I outline a clear plan of action and discuss whether a flat-rate or hourly structure makes the most sense. Once we agree on terms, I provide an engagement letter and begin work promptly, maintaining regular communication and clear timelines throughout the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed attorney with years of experience serving as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for businesses and nonprofits. My background includes transactional law, regulatory compliance, contracts, employment matters, and advising executive leadership. I bring both legal expertise and real-world business judgment to every client engagement.
