Mike/East Coast did a great job parging the foundation of our home. Not only did he complete the work in a timely manner but he took great care to protect all of our plantings.
Mike's communications and proposal were clear and prompt. In all it was pleasure to do business with him.

What a pleasure to work with! Michael was a great contractor to work with, communications were excellent, we always knew the progress of the work. He was prompt, he listened to what we wanted in the space and designed a great patio! Really enjoyed seeing the renderings, to give us a better idea of what things would like. The patio came out beautifully and it's been a wonderful addition to our home...we hope to enjoy it for many years to come! Thank you East Coast Craftsman!

Michael did an excellent job - he built a beautiful stone curbing for our front yard. Now he is going to rebuild stairs on my father's house and also do chimney work for us. Once you find someone who can do a great job, you stick with them!!

I enjoyed working work with Michael at East Coast. He is very personable to work with as a contractor, and was very prompt and commutative throughout the whole process of our patio project.
Of note, I enjoyed the steady work done each day. Often times, contractors seem to work very short and limited hours which, to a home owner with a property in disarray, makes things often take longer than they seem to need too. Michael was the opposite and finished our project within the quoted time frame, despite losing several days due to inclement weather.
I've already recommended East Coast to two friends and would gladly work with him again on a future project should the need arise.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a design and build company, which means we collect the right data from you in order to design and build an outdoor patio space that is exactly what you wanted, for a price we both agree on as reasonable for your new backyard retreat.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First meeting: At the proposed patio location. You can show me and tell me anything about what you hope, dream of, want or don't want. If you have no idea...no problem! I will ask you specific questions that will help me understand what will work great for you. I will take notes, photos and measurements. I will leave with enough data to design a space that is customized to you.
NOW IT GETS EXCITING! In about 48 hours, I will have an initial concept and pricing presented to you using beautiful, detailed, to scale computer renderings. You will get a realistic, virtual viewing of your new future patio space. This is a great time to give your feedback about the design and ask questions. If any revisions are needed, we will make them for your final approval. Samples of building materials can be provided upon request, or you can view all possibilities at a local supplier.
Now that your new outdoor patio space is perfectly planned, we will provide a thorough written proposal for you to approve with your signature. You'll be locked into place in our schedule, and be enjoying your new patio soon!

Coastal Masonry Inc is a Certified Unilock Authorized Contractor and has been formally educated in Masonry Construction through ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Paving Institute), BAC (Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman) and UTECH (Unilock Training and Education Center)
