Personal Wedding Consultation For all weddings, we offer a free consultation to help you plan a unique, unforgettable wedding celebration. We also love to meet with the bride and groom again, a few weeks before the wedding to discuss the wedding details, help with song selections, and plan out other important aspects of the event. If the couple is not available to meet in person, we are happy to arrange the details of the event over phone, Skype, or email. Our attentive staff and DJ focus on the particulars of the event, taking the stress off of you and ensuring that the festivities go according to plan. Our professionalism brings the focus and the fun of the event to you and your guests! Wedding Ceremonies We offer a wide assortment of background music to accompany the arrival of your guests, formal seating of relatives, the processional, the unity candle lighting, and the recessional. You can choose from a variety of traditional instrumental background music or create a unique, custom song selection theme designed specifically to meet the needs of your high quality celebration. Wedding Receptions DJ MaShane can play a variety of upbeat background music as guests socialize and dine during the initial stages of the reception. Then, according to your schedule of events, we make the transition to dancing and party music. DJ MaShane can serve as the Master of Ceremony for your entire event, from introductions, to your farewell dance, and everything in between. All our wedding packages come standard with our lighted DJ faÃ§ade and our dance/mood lighting for the dance floor. Other lighting options are available including Uplighting and Monogram Logo Lighting. We are dedicated to quality, professionalism, creativity and reliability. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask about hidden fees, setup fees, travel fees, etc. I have heard many stories of DJ's quoting one price and when you go to sign the contract it's higher because of the fees they say you "should have known about". For most people it's their first time hiring a DJ so you had no way of knowing about any extra fees. DJ MaShane understands this and that's why the price we quote to you includes all costs for the services and hours you tell us you are looking for. Make sure you sign a contract. Book early for May to October as this is the peak wedding and graduation season. You should always look at what equipment and what the setup is that the DJ you hire has. Some DJ's have wires all over the place and it looks horrible. Most of them only have a small rolling cart of equipment and are limited in what they can do. DJ MaShane spends 1 to 2 hours setting up depending on your event to make sure our setup is clean and neat for your guests. You never see messy wires. All our equipment is less than 2 years old and sounds great. You should also see what type of lighting they can provide you with and if it's an extra charge. We don't charge anything extra for our dance/mood lighting for both weddings and parties. Dance and mood lighting set the tone of the event. If you looking to have fun and dance the night away then you need dance/mood lighting.
