I had a quilt top that needed to be completed. It wasn't just any quilt top, it was one that my beloved mother hand quilted but never finished prior to her passing at the age of 96. This quilt meant so much to me but I knew that I didn't have the skill and ability to finish it. I very nervously shipped it to Michele and hoped I was doing the right thing. I could not be more pleased and impressed with the craftsmanship of Michele's work. She communicated with me along the way, had me pick out the pattern and the thread color and put me at ease. I just received the quilt back and it brought tears to my eyes. It is absolutely beautiful. My mother would be pleased and it will be treasured as I pass it along in my family. The work that Michele does touches the heart and brings a smile to my face. I can't thank her enough!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I mainly do the final long arm quilting (putting the quilt "sandwich" together). The cost is by the square inch. .02 for simple design, .03 for more complex, and .04 for custom designs. I do also make memory and tee-shirt quilts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule an appointment if the customer is in the vicinity (rhode Island). Otherwise, I try to discuss the design process over email or zoom
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified APQS Long Arm Quilter, sales rep and service technician. I not only use their equipment, I'm trained and certified to sell and service them. I have over 10 years experience piecing and quilting.
