My 1st attempt at freehand quilting on my project was ridiculously awful. To get out of the fix I’d gotten myself into, I saw Windward Quilting. Got in touch with the owner and shipped my project to her. There was communication throughout the process and today, I received my package. I decided to do the binding myself (after I watch a few more YouTube videos) lol. Anywho, the workmanship from this company is outstanding. My remnants and the quilt were returned to me as promised. I’m already working on my 2nd project and of course, Michele of Windward will be involved. Now, what color should my binding be??? Thank you so much. ❤️

I will admit I was leery as this was my first quilt top and I really didn’t know what I was doing, but I sent all the materials to Windward and she just did an amazing job and I’m very grateful and thankful and I love it and I’m about to ask her if I can send another one to her thank you so much — and she answered all my questions responded in a timely fashion because I had a lot of questions because I didn’t know what I was doing, and I am so pleased with my quilt -

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I mainly do the final long arm quilting (putting the quilt "sandwich" together). The cost is by the square inch. .02 for simple design, .03 for more complex, and .04 for custom designs. I do also make memory and tee-shirt quilts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule an appointment if the customer is in the vicinity (rhode Island). Otherwise, I try to discuss the design process over email or zoom
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified APQS Long Arm Quilter, sales rep and service technician. I not only use their equipment, I'm trained and certified to sell and service them. I have over 10 years experience piecing and quilting.
