I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Michele of Windward Quilting. Not only did she do a beautiful, beautiful job, but she did it INCREDIBLY fast, she communicated/responded quickly and regularly, and even arranged to have my embroidery work done by someone else to bring my vision/idea to life. This was gifted to a retiring kindergarten teacher; and it was a very special, emotional, meaningful gift that wouldn't have been possible had I not found this app and Windward Quilting.

Windward was wonderful to work with !! They assisted in finishing a quilt my mother had started and not finished before her passing. From finishing the quilt to selecting backing, stitching etc the communication was timely, clear and helpful. And I Love the quilt !!!! Would ask for their help again in a heartbeat. Not knowing anything about quilt making, I asked Michele to take a bunch of T-shirts and make a quilt. wow did she exceed all my expectations, it is wonderful. I love the decorative stitching and the perfect edging she used to pull it all together. Great work, highly recommend!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I mainly do the final long arm quilting (putting the quilt "sandwich" together). The cost is by the square inch. .02 for simple design, .03 for more complex, and .04 for custom designs. I do also make memory and tee-shirt quilts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule an appointment if the customer is in the vicinity (rhode Island). Otherwise, I try to discuss the design process over email or zoom
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified APQS Long Arm Quilter, sales rep and service technician. I not only use their equipment, I'm trained and certified to sell and service them.
I have over 10 years experience piecing and quilting.
