I believe that you as the owner should be doing 90% of the training and keeping up with that training when services are no longer needed.
Your dog is only as well trained as you are and that’s why I don’t believe in or participate in boarding and training scenarios. Training is a perfect bonding experience with your pet and helps you both better understand each other!
I have been training animals since 1994 where I worked with tigers, primates, wolves and other big cats. My training method is based on animal behavior and being a balanced trainer.

This was a very positive experience. My dog immediately took to Deb. The training is ongoing but it really works, I can’t thank Deb enough for all she has taught me and my dogs.

I left a message for Deb to call me because I needed help with my dogs. Deb called me within the hour, and I explained to her that I just got a 9-month-old lab puppy four days ago and I have a two-year-old German Shepherd at my house. My husband and I tried several times to get them together, but we felt my German Shepherd would hurt the puppy. Deb told me she believed she could help, and we made plans for her to come to my house two days later. Deb came to my house yesterday showed both my dogs love and patience. Deb told me how much experience she had with animals and asked to observe my dogs for a bit. Shortly after that my two dogs were running around the yard playing together. Deb watched me and my husband with the dogs and told me she didn't think we needed anymore help that my 2 year German Shepherd was well behaved. Deb gives a free consultation that was what this first session was. I was so happy I told her I'd pay for the first training since she drove all way to my home she said it was ok she does this because she loves to help animals and people. I was so impressed with her kindness and honesty that I insisted she take the money. I was told by another trainer that it might take several sessions to get the dogs together.

Deb has changed my life. I have been struggling with a young pup who is stubborn. Deb was the first person to respond to my post. Her feedback to my issues sold me in hiring her and I am glad I did. In just one session I understood what I had been doing wrong and have been working with her for a few months. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am not here to price gouge, dog training is a part time job for me because I enjoy helping people get more out of their relationship with their dogs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with a potential new client to better understand what they need and what their expectations are prior to being hired. It promotes a better working relationship with understanding what can be accomplished

I worked with, handled and trained all types of big cats, primates and wolves while working with T.I.G.E.R.S ( The Institute Of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species.)
