To reserve your photography date and secure my services, I require a 50% non-refundable retainer (deposit) for packages over $500.
Why this retainer?
~ It holds your date on my calendar so no one else can book it.
~ It covers the initial time I spend planning, preparing, and coordinating for your session or event.
~ The remaining 50% is due no later than one week (7 days) prior to your event.
Important: The retainer is non-refundable because it immediately reserves your spot and starts the dedicated work for your booking. If you need to reschedule (subject to availability), we can usually apply it toward a new date. This is a standard practice in photography to ensure both sides are committed. I couldn't have asked this guy more last minute than I did for a photographer for my wedding. He responded almost immediately, his price was more than fair considering how short notice it was, and the photos turned out excellent. I would highly recommend this photographer.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will discuss their specific event with them and gather all the information needed to ensure that all of their specific needs are met within their specific budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been involved in the arts my entire life. I started off as a traditional artist from a very young age (it came naturally), eventually turned to music, and naturally took an interest in photography.
