In June 2024 we purchased a 150+ year home that was in need of some major TLC. We first hired Ted to help us with some interior painting and his involvement in our home quickly evolved into much more than that. Ted became our GC/jack of all trades including flooring, siding, structural engineering, master carpentry, painting (exterior and interior), deck building, and much more. Ted was extremely flexible and responsive to our ever changing needs. With Ted’s guidance we were able to finish a complete tear down kitchen renovation, while addressing some major issues the prior homeowner had neglected. We found Ted to be professional, attentive, and extremely adaptable. He’s honest, reliable, and takes pride in his work. He treated our home like it was his own.

It was great having Ted "on the job!" He knows wood - What an asset to have, to assess a project and all the details (expected and not!) that come up. Ted is a great communicator and kept us apprised of the schedule, during an extremely wet summer, and options for repair-or-replace situations. We chose to stay in budget versus getting all elements of the job done and Ted was fair and open to that. If he has the availability, we'll have Ted back, even if only for a consultation - Thanks, again, Ted!! :D
