Introduction

As far back as I can remember, I have always enjoyed being in front of the piano trying to make it sing. I was inspired to do so by the talent of my mother and older brother. After giving my family members one too many headaches when I was much younger, I was given the opportunity to take piano lessons in order to refine my technique. Through the course of the years, I developed an eclectic approach to my music. My attitude has been if I enjoy playing it, I will play it regardless of the genre. I would like to think the result has been a wide scope of music that appeals to a broader audience. I look forward to performing at your functions. Thank-you in advance for the opportunity. What I enjoy about my work is the opportunity it gives me to do something that I appreciate doing, as well as learning songs that I would otherwise not have heard or played.

Andrew Kaplan performed piano music at my mother’s 80th birthday party and exceeded our expectations. Everyone who attended the party truly enjoyed his magnificent performance. Just as we had wanted, he performed a wide variety of great music, ranging from classical, jazz, ragtime and rock. He also perfectly executed an amazing performance of Ave Maria (fulfilling my mother’s special wish that this song be played at her party). During the party, he was flexible, gave and took cues, and fully understood the flow of the event. It was a pleasure to have Andrew perform for us and we would not hesitate to ask him to perform for us again at a future special event. He is an outstanding pianist who is highly responsive/reliable, an excellent communicator, courteous and polite…a true professional. Thank you, Andrew!

Andy is the best! He is super responsive and responsible. He checked in proactively and provided us with useful advice on music picking. He practiced the songs we liked for us. He read the vides throughout our wedding and played the perfect songs for us.

Andrew was one of the most professional people I’ve ever worked with. He was very thorough in the planning process. His musical talent is perfect for any event!
