I have been doing electrical work since age 10 with my father. I would go along with my dad and help him with whatever he needed. He always told me to "watch what he was doing because one day," he said, "U may have to do this stuff yourself." Well being the know it all that I was I would respond "Ya, Ya okay" and continued to play with the customers pet dog or cat. Well, needless to say, I grew up and became a licensed electrician. I guess what Im trying to say is that after almost 30 years of being in the business, I take pride in my work and still get a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment from the ole family business. I like traveling to customers houses and meeting new people all the time.

Michael Pizzi replaced my 2 hard-wired smoke alarms. One alarm was in the stairwell, which I could not replace myself (I was barely able to change the batteries). He came at the scheduled time after first notifying me he was on the way. The job went smoothly, and he was done very quickly. I am very satisfied to now have 2 new smoke alarms. I would hire Michael Pizzi again.

Moving into our new home, we knew going in that 2 bedrooms will need fans and the dining need a light fixture. Mike texted me as soon as he received the request from thumbtack. They arrived promptly the first day and fixed the fans within 45 mins. The next day, although an hour late, they both returned to start the project on the ceiling light. It was rather cumbersome. Dave is an absolute delight to be around, professional, persistent and gets the job done! I will go no further, but to call them anytime I need more work done. Great pricing, and the best work. Dave you rock!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The electrical trade is a very tedious business. No job is the same. Two jobs may be similar but never the same. Thats why it is so complicated to give quotes without looking at the actual job. However, some things are quoteable without seeing the job for example: If a customer needed 3 light fixtures removed and replaced, then a quote could be given for that particular job. But like I said, No job is a carbon copy of another.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Code classes every three years. To keep up on all the updating code revisions and changes.
