FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are currently working on becoming a member of the Licensed Private Detective Association of Rhode Island in an effort to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and procedures. One of our primary investigators is currently working on obtaining her law degree. We are always reading new materials to improve our investigations, attending and conducting trainings, and researching new technologies to refine our investigations. We have many expert consultants that work with us to make sure that we are current in our field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to start private investigation because I have always had a heart for investigations. I studied criminal justice in college and have done everything from private security to working for the police. I also have a strong legal background, which allows me the familiarity with the legal system and laws surrounding investigations that others may not have. I thoroughly enjoy my work, but helping people is an added bonus.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs we have done are cheating spouses, child custody, auto repossessions, divorce matters, cohabitation cases, identity theft, background checks, and civil matters. We offer many other services and are currently planning to expand our computer forensics and fraud services.
