- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Ceiling Fans, TV installations, doors, windows and a few other related services are priced by the project, all other handyman services are hourly or daily, plus materials. If you need a firm bid rather than an estimate on any project, the price will typically be 25% more than the estimate price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first call to get details of the project, pictures, and sometimes measurements. With this information we can usually provide a pretty accurate estimate over the phone. If we need to do an in home consultation/estimate we will charge $159 for the trip. If hired for the project we will refund $75 of that fee by taking it off of the final payment. Once we have reached an agreement on an estimate and scope of work to be done, we will schedule a time to begin.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of our customers are residential clients, although we do some light commercial work as well. We have worked on $100,000. homes and $10 million dollar homes.
