Wade Brown did a great job replacing a wall and door of our side yard. The old door was too heavy, as it had been built using the same Hardie board siding material that was used on the house (both sides of the door!) This had caused the post it was attached to, and the wall of the side yard to pull away from the corner post. Wade assessed the problem quickly and suggested that, along with replacing the door and two door posts, replacing the distorted wall. This was a more complete and long-term solution than even we had anticipated, which was to merely replace the door and bang the post back into alignment. Wade began the job on time and completed the job in two days, replacing the 4x4 posts (in cement) with 6x6 posts in new cement, crafting a custom wood door, replacing the wall with Hardie board (both sides), priming and painting all with paint matching the house, and installing new hardware.

The quality of the work was excellent. They were efficient. They made my ideas better. They asked questions prior to starting the job, to know how much I wanted them to do, since I could do the prep and paint on my own. The professionalism continued throughout the day, letting us know when they were leaving for lunch, and not just going, and cleaning up when they were done. I can’t imagine living in our 55 year old home without HammerTime Remodeling! Wade’s services came highly recommended. I found a man who shows up on time and completes the job in a professional timely manner. Wade modified the structure of our gazebo, re-roofed and painted it, it’s beautiful. He designed and built the 2 story staircase to our treehouse. He resided our barn, put up new doors, a ramp and painted it all. Wade improves and maintains our pier, pier head, floating dock, boat lift and trailer. HammerTime has installed blinds, hung our large televisions, installed our security system. Wade is a hard working professional with exemplary customer service skills. I recommend him to all my friends.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All my estimates are in the low middle range. This gets my foot in the door without shooting it. Also provides me with the opportunity to develop a relationship with the client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customers and get an idea of what they like. I thoroughly walk them through my process and provide alternate routes at every turn giving them the most custom house I can.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a home builders license and 10 years of experience in construction. 3 of those years were construction management.
