Work has not begun, but were hired. Grady was wick to respond, gave us a very satisfactory price for the work. And we are giving him additional landscape work. Even though the work has not begun yet, I would recommend Grady and his Wind in the Willow Nursery to anyone!😋

We hired Wind in the Willows to build a large flagstone patio with a firepit and two sidewalks. Grady was very easy to work with and had some great ideas. We were having drainage issues and he recommended a dry creek bed along the patio to solve our water problems; his design worked well and looks great. We are extremely happy with the patio and creek bed. Grady (the owner) was always on site when work was being completed (you aren't left with just helpers after the job is started!). Grady is flexible and communicates with you instead of just picking what he think's you'll prefer (this is a hard trait to find!!). We will plan to use Wind in the Willows for any future landscaping needs!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the difficulty of the job site and the time and materials needed to complete the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the customer and see the job site and get a feel for what the customer really wants. Then I can give a firm price and then book the time for the work and then show up on time and complete the work in a timely manner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studdied ornamental horticulture and landscape design at Clemson University and my continuing education is made up of short courses in landscape design, horticulture courses, and insecticide certification classed offered by Clemson University at various times during the year. I also have an extensive library on horticulture and landscape design as well as subscribing to many of the trade magazines.
