My wife and I got married last month in October. We live in the midwest and got married in Savannah. Since we were unfamiliar with the area we decided to hire a "day-of" wedding coordinator. We can not state how amazing Caitlin was and how easy she made things for us. She went above and beyond what was required to make sure that our day went off without any hitches. She met with us over zoom multiple times in the 2-3 months prior to the wedding. Each meeting, she pointed out little details about everything from the morning of the wedding until the last guest left. She was so detail oriented making sure everything was perfect. As for the day of, she was our MVP. Running around making sure vendors were in their proper place, making sure both myself as well as my wife were taken care of. She stayed through the entire night, even dealing with would-be wedding crashers. We cannot recommend her enough. It is extremely obvious that she loves what she does and that she puts 100% into each job. Thank you Caitlin for helping us live out our dream wedding.Nov 8, 2020Caitlin DePue Wallace: Day-of Wedding Coordination's reply

Hiring Caitlin as our day of planner was by far the best decision we made when it came to wedding planning. While I planned the wedding from NYC, it would not have been executed so flawlessly without Caitlin's service. She thought of everything! From the flow of the day, to coordinating the vendors and taking care of my family. She was so thoughtful, so kind, professional and so incredibly helpful. I can not say enough about how much we valued the services she provided. She is a gem and I'm grateful for all she did to make our wedding so special.Nov 18, 2016Verified

Caitlin was amazing. She is much more than a Day-of Wedding Coordinator. I was doing everything from a distance but Caitlin made everything so easy, having monthly calls to make sure we were on track with all the planning. She reached out to all my vendors with the day's schedule and kept us on track at the wedding too. She also talked me off the ledge the morning of our wedding when I called her crying because the weather was so terrible. She was so great and I'll miss our regular phone calls!May 3, 2018

Caitlin made the planning process much less daunting by offering advice, referring vendors, and guiding us through the process. The wedding ran smoothly. Not one bump or snag was noticed. As the bride, I could not be any happier with Caitlin as our wedding coordinator.Apr 2, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? At the time the contract is signed, 50% of the cost for services is required. The remaining balance is due the day before the wedding.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I love to meet the bride, groom, and any other essential family members to discuss the vision for the ceremony and reception. Our discussion includes what their ideal day looks like and how I can help make that dream a reality. No contracts the first meeting! I rather just have a great open discussion and then we can both decide from there if we are a good fit for each other.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been an event planner for 7 years and have been working in the wedding industry for 4 years. I've been both an assistant to a full planner on large scale weddings (400+ guests!) and worked solely as a day-of coordinator for weddings (150-200 guests) as well. My experience as an event planner has allowed me to plan a variety of events, including New Years Eve parties, baby showers, memorial services, small benefit concerts, a film festival, and even a 5K!
