- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Training: 1 dog $150 (about 2hrs), 2 dogs $175 (may be over 2hrs), 3 dogs $200 (over 2.5hrs). Follow-up lessons are $75 for about an hour. Follow-ups are suggested after a few weeks, few months, first year and when another dog is being introduced. Ask about our puppy training, electric fence, and bootcamp training packages. See my website for more details! $25 additional charge over thirty minute drive, $50 over sixty minutes drive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer it is important to understand their concerns and to evaluate their dog. I typically can do that within the first 10 minutes of meeting them. This is done with the first training session in which I teach the owner the skills needed. I also work with their dog. Sometimes customers do not require a follow-up and are usually surprised at how much they learn in the first training session (which is two hours).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have graduated from West Virginia Canine College over 20yr ago. I have also completed a certificate in grooming at All Dogs Academy in Manchester in 2010. In August 2015 I updated my CPR and First Aid training through American Red Cross
