- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Consultations are always no charge. Generally, I price jobs on a per job bases. So, if you are a variety of project that need to be addressed, I will give you a price for each individual job. I tend to stay away from hourly pricing, to give clients peace of mind. All pricing is upfront, there are never “surprise” charges once the project is complete. If something unexpected occurs during the coarse of a project, I will inform you immediately and we will come to a solution that works for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether the initial contact is via phone, text or email, I like to schedule a time to come out and see the issue. If it’s minor, I’ll give a quote on the spot. For more complex issues, I usually do some product/material research and email a quote to the customer within 24 hours.

Colgan Home Services works with all types of customers. Homeowners with issues they are trying to resolve to those who are looking to upgrade the appearance of their home. We work with homeowners looking to spruce up their home before going on the market and those who have repairs to make after receiving home inspection reports. Homeowner that simply don’t have the time to complete projects around their homes.
