Posies and promises, owned by Julia, is better than a high end florist. I have used several local florist and was never totally satisfied. I decided to use Thumbtack since I have had outstanding results with them! We had a garden reception in our backyard, I requested tabled centerpieces, and an arrangement on our brick fireplace near the bartenders. The arrangements were the exact colors we requested and also full of beautiful high end flowers. Julia communicated throughout the entire process and also added a few extra touches when she arrived… decorating the bar tables and bride and groom chairs. The centerpiece vases and bud vases were also beautiful and elegant. You can tell this is her passion and she loves her work! How lucky I was to find such an amazing lady. These photos were taken the following day, post wedding reception. Still enjoying their beauty several days later! Thank you Julia!

Julia was amazing! Even thought we were no able to meet in person due to COVID-19, she was able to capture my vision and make it a reality. Every detail was accounted for, from our 10 ft altar piece to the tiny boutonnière for my dog. Our centerpieces, my bridal bouquet, and bridesmaids flowers were gorgeous and exactly what I imagined. I got tons of compliments on my flowers. Julia was always available for questions and extremely helpful on my wedding date. I absolutely loved how everything turned out, she did a wonderful job and I can't thank her enough. Everything was perfect!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Consultations are always complimentary. I am very detailed with my planning, I require 50% down to hold the date and the remainder 30 days prior to the event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to know the venue, time of the wedding and the style of the brides dress. All of these items factor into the floral designs. I wouldn’t create the same centerpieces for an afternoon outdoor wedding as I would for an evening ballroom affair. Inspiration pictures are a great starting point and I allow my imagination to soar from there....designing a custom bouquet that will meet and exceed my bride’s expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20+ years in the industry; I have worked retail, wholesale, mass market and now for myself :)
