Introduction: 1)... OK first things first.....Thank you for considering me to provide service to you. After you initially try to pursue service, allow me ample time to respond to you before you contact another provider. I will try to get back immediately if I am able, but may be longer... please realize I may be in the middle of something and I will try to get back to you as promptly as possible!
-When you have initiated interest in working with me, you should be aware that if I communicate with you in any way, I am charged $4 to $10 by thumbtack. Therefore, you should be ready to engage in business, and either be ready to receive service immediately or have an exact time you can communicate to set up an appointment. This appointment is a contract.
-You as a thumbtack user should be thoughtful and conscientious. A customer should not be using the app to just obtain "quotes".
-I'm definitely not the most expensive, but don't claim to be the cheapest. I will say that my prices are fair and most likely cheaper than most because I don't have the high overhead other established businesses must contend with.
- Also, thumbtack shows how many pros you the customer have contacted. Contact preferably one pro close in distance to you. If I see you have contacted 4 pros, I'm likely not going to contact you and decline service. Like I previously stated...they charge us...and why pay for a lead that does not end with a job?
2) I am available for:
-lockouts of all kinds whether it be your vehicle, home, or office
-re-keys "changing the locks" old pattern disabled/new pattern
-hardware installations
-some automobile key makes
-master keying
-access control/specialty *with deposit
-broken key removal
-filing cabinet/desk/cam locks
3) I began in the security industry in 2002, and have provided service to automotive, residential, and commercial customers. Now I am a licensed healthcare professional but provide locksmith services part-time. I treat my craftsmanship with quality and do things right the first time! Your satisfaction is guaranteed!
-When you need service, it is probably a stressful and unexpected situation. When posting your needs, please be specific with the exact address, apartment/suite/or unit #, and make, model, year, and color of your vehicle if applicable, and phone number where you can be reached...the more information you provide, the better.
4) A note on re-keys (locks being changed):
-Please be advised that if the key you have does not fit into the lock (the lock you want keyed like the others....try sticking your key into the knob or deadbolt), it cannot be keyed to fit that lock...you will have to purchase compatible hardware for one key to work all the locks. I only have a few and it may not be the correct keyway or correct finish so best you have that purchased beforehand or we discuss beforehand so I can bring the correct item for you if you want to buy it from me.
-In addition to the service charge (based on distance), there is a fee per lock. Wherever you can place the key counts as a lock (a double deadbolt is 2 locks not 1). Most small residences with 5-6 locks will fit into the situation above; this will be approximately a 30 minute time frame. If times does run over, an hourly fee billable in 15 minute increments also applies.
-Please have a key that works the locks available for me to use in the re-keying process. This will greatly speed things along. Otherwise, picking/shimming the locks will have to be done to gain access to the tumblers (this sometimes takes more time but sometimes unavoidable..it will be an additional expense).
5)I am based out of the Boiling Springs/Spartanburg South Carolina area. Keep in mind the further the distance and time it takes to travel from here, there will be a higher cost for the trip/service charge.
