He called a day prior to confirm my appointment, and also called with an ETA the day of the appointment. The work quality was very good and he made sure that my new mailbox looked neat and clean before leaving. As a courtesy he also carried away the old mailbox and post as well and the trash. I will mostly definitely be using HaqqRenovations LLC for any future projects.

Incomplete services were provided. A partial refund was discussed and agreed upon, however, when requested, the member has displayed a refusal to do so. The discussion occurred over a month ago and a refund request was sent 2 weeks ago. Still no response. This is inconsiderate and inconvenient.

I was disappointed that thumbtack listed his fee at $35 per hour but at the last minute he advised he charged an additional $50 solely to come to the house. I cancelled. You don't have to pay extra fees for estimates. I now have a plumber who does not charge to provide an estimate.

Thanks for your review As specified, the $50 quote is returned to hire. Not all contractors charge for quotes, but we are entitled to charge for our service and time, and a quote is a service to homeowners and it's time. And if we choose to waive the fee, that's our decision. No one has the right to make that decision for contractors but us.
