FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for bankruptcy cases is reviewed by the Court and U.S. Trustee system. Chapter 7 cases are generally flat fee cases with the full fee paid up front. Chapter 13 cases are also flat fee cases with a portion of the charge paid up front and the balance paid over the 3 to 5 years of the Chapter 13 repayment period. Fees vary based on the complexity of the cases.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts with a phone call where we can talk about your situation and decide what you are trying to accomplish and whether a bankruptcy may be able to help.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a law degree and only file bankruptcy cases for individuals.
