The Party and Event Store

We want to sincerely address the concerns and confusion surrounding the events that occurred near our store last night. First and foremost, we want to clarify that the shooting incident did not involve The Party and Event Store in any way. It was the result of a road rage altercation that took place at the barbershop across the street, and we have confirmed this information with the Cayce Police Department. We encourage anyone with questions to do the same for further clarity. That said, we do acknowledge and apologize for the behavior that occurred at the private event held at our venue. While The Party and Event Store was not associated with the event itself, we did allow our space to be rented for it. Unfortunately, the individual who rented the venue failed to adhere to the rules and regulations clearly outlined in our rental agreement. As soon as we were made aware of the violations, we took immediate action. The responsible party has been permanently banned from our premises, and we have terminated any future business with them. The Party and Event Store is proud to be a family-friendly business dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and joyful space for our community. We’ve hosted countless positive events—these are the only events officially affiliated with us and are always promoted through our verified social media channels. As a gesture of goodwill and accountability—for both the unacceptable behavior of the renters and our role in not more thoroughly vetting them—we’d like to invite you back for free popcorn and ice cream on us. It’s our small way of saying thank you for your continued support and giving us the opportunity to reaffirm the environment we stand for: one of community, celebration, and care.
