Hi! My name is Nikki Morgan, and I am a Columbia, SC based Photographer. I specialize in Wedding and Boudoir, but I always love photographing Children and Families. Besides being a photographer, I am a wife to my supportive husband, Greg, and mommy to an awesome little boy, Tripp. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Arts and Sciences. I received my first DSLR camera as a Christmas gift before my son was born, so we could take nice pictures of him. We started snapping pictures of him the day he was born, and I haven't stopped. It wasn't long before I realized that photography was more than a hobby, but a passion. Since then, I have photographed Maternity sessions, Newborn sessions, Family sessions, Boudoir sessions, Engagement sessions, and Weddings. I strive to make sure all of my clients are happy while we are working together, as well as with the final project. I look forward to working with you!

My original photographer, who was a SCAD grad student cancelled on me for family reasons three weeks before my wedding. I immediately got on thumbtack. I had an Awesom deal with my first photographer and was worried I wouldn't be able to get that deal with the same quality but, Nikki said she would match it. We had an outdoor wedding at 6:30 with outdoor reception to follow. 15 minutes before show time an unexpected torrential thunder and lighting storm occurred. We waited the storm for an hour which left us with dramatic skies and a double rainbow! She captured all this beauty! I'm not kidding, I have magazine quality photos!!! Due to the delay, we had to move fast for the family photos and group shots, as it was getting dark. We had issues due to the storm with the lighting, but she was able to get some great shots during the reception. To top it off, I found out two months later that She was celebrating her 50th wedding! This woman is just getting started on her amazing talent! I could not be more pleased with our wedding photos!

Outstanding (5 stars) does not even begin to describe Nikki. She is the most talented photographer you can imagine. From the day we met on thumbtack she made me feel so comfortable about my decision. with constant contact and conversation about ideas and needs for our wedding. On the day of the wedding she was amazing and blended in with the family. We had a very small intimate wedding and it felt as though she was part of the family. The best part were the pictures. The pictures she took are the most beautiful wedding pictures I have ever seen. They captured the true feel of the day. Nothing looked staged or forced. Every time I look at my pictures I feel an overwhelming amount of gratitude towards Nikki.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I considered changing my major to Photography while I studied at USC, but the very first class they put me in was graphic design. It was horrible, and I didn't think it had anything to do with photography. Then, while I was pregnant with my son, we purchased a DSLR so we could take great pictures of him. I immediately fell in love with the camera, and when it came to editing, I found that the horrible class I took really came in hand!
