Introduction: I am a QuickBooks ProAdvisor who loves supporting small businesses! I am fast, accurate and I love to help clients resolve their problems and feel in control of their accounting instead of being overwhelmed by it! I will help you get your books in order and I will NEVER talk down to you! My goal is to help you understand your financials so you can know where you stand. I can either come in a tackle a single set-up, catch-up and clean-up project for you, or I can take over your monthly accounting so you don't have to be bothered with it. It's totally up to you! I admire small business owners, but I know many of you are intimidated by your bookkeeping needs. I love the satisfaction I get from helping clients lose that anxiety and become confident that their books are in order! I have taught a number of accounting classes as an adjunct, and I really enjoy the teaching part of my client engagements. It's important to me that you and I work together to get your books in perfect order. You work so hard on your small business, so it's really important that you (not me) are confident that your books are correct and you know exactly where you stand financially.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally I will charge $35-$40 per hour depending on the nature of the assignment and the complexity and problem-solving that will be required.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule a free one-hour consultation with my client to discuss exactly what his or her accounting needs are and what the current situation is. Based on that conversation, the client and I can generally map out a plan of attach and decide the next steps together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years working in various accounting roles in corporate and small business settings. I have been a controller, but have also served as a contract accountant performing whatever jobs need to be done! I love doing "hand-on" accounting, but have also managed virtually every accounting task there is. I have my MBA with a focus on accounting, and I am a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor in all QB products.
