I met Rachel in March 2012, I was overweight, unhappy and not healthy. In our initial visit, I clicked with her immediately and I hired her to be my personal trainer. I went to her boot camp classes two days a week for an hour which consisted of strength training and cardio. Not only do I get fantastic results from her boot camp classes, but she taught me about nutrition and how to fuel my body with food. I can call her anytime, day or night with a question, temptations or just to celebrate my successes. I know she has many clients but she always makes me feel like I am the only one. I never miss class and look forward to going. Almost a year later, I have released 73 lbs. and am down 7 sizes. My energy is through the roof and I have added years to my life. This journey would not have been possible if it weren't for the help, knowledge and support of Rachel. I will be forever grateful.

When I first started going to Rachel’s 5:30 A.M. boot camp I never thought I would last no more than a month 2 at the most, since that is how long I usually last when I start an exercise program or weight loss plan. I would grow bored frustrated with what I was doing and fall off all together. It has now been 7 months and I am still going strong and love working out with Rachel and a great group of people. If I happen to miss a session I don’t feel right and my whole day is shot. We have fun and Rachel is a great trainer/friend who is there for you to help you succeed and be there if you are having a bad day. She knows when to push you to reach deeper into yourself to do that extra push up or keep that straight arm blank for that last 10 seconds when you don’t think you can do it any longer and and at the same time doesn’t make you feel awful if you can’t When I first started working out I had several goals. Losing weight topped the list but more importantly keeping it off. Right now I have lost 30 pounds but more importantly I have not gained any of that weight back. Next get more energy I feel like I can do more than before I started working out when I finish a session I feel great and ready to face the day or sometimes even a whole week. And third I used to wear a belt and suspenders, now there I feel comfortable just wearing a belt and leaving the suspenders at home most days. I am still working on those goals and adding more goals as time goes by and I keep losing even more weight. I already completed two 5k run/walks and looking forward to doing more improving my time each time.

I had an amazing training opportunity with Rachel Gilmore a few months ago. She has patience, knowledge, and determination. Patience for people starting their fitness journey, knowledge of fitness nutrition and fundamentals, and determination to help others achieve their wellness goals. I highly recommend Rachel!

Rachel is a fantastic trainer who tailors each work-out according to that persons level and goals. She has vast knowledge of work-out equipment and what will get you results. Most sessions are one hr long, consisting of lower body, upper body, or core strengthening. She is always upbeat and radiates a positive energy that keeps you motivated and challenged.

Rachel has been working with me since September on my weight loss journey. To be honest, if she hadn't followed up with me at the beginning, I probably wouldn't have started down the road but been trying to figure out how I was going to lose the weight. She has encouraged me and helped to figure out what's going on when I hit a roadblock! I've travelled a good bit over the last year and have had a stressful work life for about 6 months and Rachel has supported me through all of that. Almost 1/2 way to my goal! Thanks Rachel!
