Hey! I’m Justin Gonzalez, the proud owner of Gonz.Media. I grew up in Middletown, New Jersey, but South Carolina has become home as I pursue my college education. My journey south began with a family visit, and I instantly fell in love with the area. My passion for storytelling started in New Jersey, where I spent years photographing cars and capturing candid moments with loved ones. Gonz Media was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end! My family was traveling from another state on vacay and I needed a photographer for photos. I found them, sent a message and they were very responsive to all messages! The photographer Zac was early and his personality was great for us! We received our photos 3 days later and we love them! hands down the best pictures ever! Ryan had so many ideas for our photo shoot and took his time discussing exactly what we wanted, and we really got all we wanted and more! the photo shoot didn’t feel rushed at all and he made sure we were happy with our poses and pictures before we were done! you could tell how excited he was for our shoot and how dedicated he is to his work!

Gonz media made our experience AMAZING!!! We used them for sunset family pictures for our first blended family vacation. There were two photographers and we had the best time and felt so natural and comfortable with them!! They really helped us all relax and not feel staged!! Justin was so quick to respond every time I had a question and his quick response was the biggest reason I hired him above any other photographers in Myrtle! He was so amazing with accommodating us and truly helped make this experience perfect!! The pictures are beyond gorgeous and exceeded any expectations we had!! How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started by taking pictures of my car. I got into automotive photography and videography and branched out from there into many different photo and video genres.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A project I did in December of last year was for a Wealth Management Christmas party. The video was about 4 Minutes and took 5 days.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Customers should think about what exactly they’re looking for. By doing this it helps me customize a package that fits their needs. It also leaves out any guess work and confusion when editing the project as my client and I can both have a clear vision on what is to be expected
