I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics & Translation, which has given me an in-depth understanding of language learning, including phonetics, pronunciation, grammar, syntax, and language acquisition. This academic background, combined with over a decade of teaching experience, allows me to explain Spanish in a way that is logical, approachable, and easy to understand—even for students who have struggled with the language before. I was born and raised in Montréal, Canada, where I grew up in a multilingual environment speaking Spanish, French, and English. Throughout my life, I have been fortunate to build close friendships with people from many Spanish-speaking countries and to spend time living and traveling in Spain and throughout Latin America, including the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the richness and diversity of the Spanish language, allowing me to help students understand not only grammar and vocabulary, but also regional accents, cultural differences, and real-world communication.
