My goal for every home inspection is inspect once and inspect right. I have been in the home construction business for 30 plus years as a construction specialist. I decided to become home inspector when my wife and I purchased a hundred-year old home in Elloree SC. I worked closely with the inspector and decided that home inspecting was my calling. I am here to walk every client, whether you're the buyer or seller, through the home inspection process.

Great company. Very knowledgeable and dependable. The inspector showed up on time, performed an inspection of my home and found several minor items that the original builder overlooked. Their honesty and integrity as well as their recommendations were excellent. I highly recommend this company for any type of homeinspection.

I would highly recommend Above Grade Services LLC for any type of home repair whether it be interior or exterior. They also completely remodeled my kitchen, laundry and bathroom floors and did an excellent job. Dan and Krista Hassell are a unique team. Krista handles all the scheduling and billing and Dan and his crew do all the work. I am very pleased with not only the work but also the cost. I plan on using them again in 2023 to remodel my living and dining room flooring.

They turned our bathroom into something to be shown off!! I absolutely love it. They were very understanding of the things we wanted and the questions we had. We will be calling them again when it is time to rip up our carpet!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are dependent on the size and type of property we are inspecting. The inspection price is always agreed upon prior to the inspection. Fees are required prior to the inspection being completed. Our clients typically pay in person upon my arrival or via credit card the day before the inspection. Special discounts for military (active or retired) and first responders.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the initial contact (typically via telephone), I gather details about the home, communicate the cost of the inspection, schedule the inspection. Once the inspection is complete, our client will be provided a detailed report addressing any concerns with recommendations via email within 24 hours of completion. Payment is required prior to conducting the inspection.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certification from ICA Home Inspection, SCRBC Home Inspection License Number 49680, 30 years experience in residential building trades.
