Introduction: With a lifelong background in building, I am knowledgeable about the various systems that are needed to complete a home. I take annual continuing education to keep up to date on the latest residential building technology. As an inspector it is very important to understand what to look for in a home but it is JUST AS IMPORTANT to be able to communicate those findings. I make myself availible to discuss the inspection , provide a full report with pictures, and always explain findings in a way people can understand. I use the latest technology such an an infrared camera, Gopro Hero and various meters and tools at no extra cost. Don't over pay and don't go for the lowest price. Not all inspectors are the same. With our knowledge and experience we know what signs to look for that could indicate problems. We also use all the tools at our disposal for every inspection. No extra charges for special equipment. If you want a thorough inspection at a fair price, choose us. Anyone else is just looking around.

Carolina HomeInspect did an amazing job. They were able to fit us in with only a few days notice. We feel like they left no stone unturned by locating item after item we missed in our new construction. They have the tools, eyes, and experience at a great price. I definitely recommend them.

My pricing is based on the size and age of the home. Typical inspections are in the $325-$500 range.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to explain how the inspection process works and what to expect. We discuss any client concerns and make ourselves available for any questions before during or after the inspection.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been involved in the construction industry in different aspects for 20 years. I completed my inspector training and received my licence in 2003. Since then I complete annual continuing education which is 24 hrs per year.
