FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price projects based on the scope of work rather than charging by the hour. Each customer receives a detailed written quote outlining the work to be performed and the total cost, so there are no surprises. If unforeseen conditions arise or the customer requests changes to the original scope, I provide a separate quote for the additional work. No changes or additional charges are made without the customer's approval.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by discussing the customer's project to understand their goals, expectations, and the work they would like completed. Depending on the project, I'll arrange an on-site visit to evaluate the work, discuss options, and take any necessary measurements. I then prepare a detailed written quote outlining the scope of work and total cost. Once the quote is approved, we agree on a schedule and discuss any preparations needed before work begins. As the owner of Tenacity Services LLC, I personally handle the project from the initial consultation through completion. I keep customers informed throughout the process, address any unexpected issues as they arise, and make sure the finished work meets our agreed-upon expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My knowledge and skills come primarily from hands-on experience with residential and commercial construction, remodeling, and repairs. I've developed practical experience across a wide range of trades, including carpentry, framing, decking, drywall, tile, flooring, and finish work. I place a strong emphasis on understanding proper construction techniques, using the right materials, and following manufacturer installation requirements and applicable building codes. I continually research products, methods, and industry best practices to ensure the work I perform is completed correctly and built to last.
