Introduction: I teach people how to play guitar. I have been playing since 1976. I prefer teaching chord structure and strumming techniques for general beginner guitar students. I also teach guitar theory and teach people how to practice which is a very important aspect in learning how to play.

I play guitar at a predominantly black church. With 5 women back up singers 1 male singer and I play with an organist that has been playing over 40 years. We play jazz type new gospel music. But I grew up learning Hendrix and Led Zepelin music.
