- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My cleaning rate depends on the sq footage, using my supplies, if you have pets, is it a deep or light clean, is the home vacant or lived in? The following is always included: dusting of all visible items including ceiling fans, ceilings and base boards, re-making beds, all floors, bathrooms, exterior of all appliances & inside of microwave, countertops and cleaning of furniture as needed. The following is extra but available on request: interior of appliances, windows, window treatments, laundry (sheets/towels), pet hair removal (if you have large animals or several animals that leave heavy hair on furniture) and dishes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was laid of from a management position in the corporate business world after almost 7 years. I decided I didn't want to sit behind a desk again for 10 hours a day... I'd rather help others reach their goals and achieve success knowing that I was a part of it. For me THAT is MY success. For example, cleaning homes sounds easy, like its no big deal... BUT it really is hard work and it takes time. So the look of relief on a customers face when I'm done is AWESOME! Knowing that it is one less thing they have to do, makes what I do an achievement because I helped that person focus on more important things even if only for that one day.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Almost anything! Personal assistance - running errands, house keeping, child care. Professional assistance - maintaining a professional business environment; expediting projects, tasks and employees to meet and achieve deadlines ***IN GENERAL I KEEP MY CLIENTS ON TRACK WITH THEIR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GOALS***
