We used Iconic Build and Design for a kitchen renovation and had a really good experience from start to finish. They helped us work through the different parts of the project, kept us updated on what was happening, and were always quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed clarification on something.The kitchen turned out great, and we were really impressed with the quality of the work and attention to detail. We hired Iconic Build and Design to complete an ADU on our property, and overall we had a great experience. Gene and his team were easy to communicate with, kept us updated throughout the project, and helped us work through the different decisions that came up along the way.
There were a lot of moving parts with the project, including inspections, finishes, and coordinating different trades, but they stayed on top of everything and kept the job moving. The finished space turned out great and feels like a completely separate, functional part of the property.
We really appreciated their attention to detail and how responsive they were whenever we had questions or needed something addressed. We would definitely recommend Iconic Build and Design for an ADU or larger renovation project.

Every project is different, so pricing is based on the scope of work, materials, design requirements, site conditions, and overall complexity. We focus on providing the right solution for the project rather than simply being the lowest bid. When changes are needed, we communicate pricing and options before moving forward so there are no unnecessary surprises.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by learning about your project, goals, budget, and timeline. From there, we schedule a consultation or site walkthrough to better understand the space and scope of work. Depending on the project, we may then move into planning, design, selections, estimating, and permitting before construction begins. Once the project is underway, our team manages scheduling, trades, communication, and quality control through completion. Our goal is to give you one team and a clear process from the initial conversation through the final walkthrough.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Iconic Build and Design is a licensed general contractor in North and South Carolina with experience in residential and commercial construction. Our work requires an understanding of building codes, permitting, project management, construction methods, safety requirements, estimating, and trade coordination. We also stay current with applicable construction standards and code requirements so projects are planned and completed properly.
