MEET ME: As an Ordained Wedding Officiant, I perform contemporary Christian ceremonies from private Elopements and Formal Weddings to Vow Renewals. Spur of the moment, casual, intimate ceremonies are my specialty! I am a creative and out of the box thinker and do my best to create beautiful memories for you and your spouse-to-be. Lakela Dos Santos - where do I begin…she went beyond her call of duty. We wanted a civil wedding due to Covid but realized it wasn’t possible within the limited time we had before our date as the magistrate was booked in 4 counties and Lakela came to the rescue. We had our wedding on a tritoon boat on Lake Norman and she personalized our wedding by keeping our witnesses and our son involved was truly amazing and unexpected. She made us so comfortable it’s almost as if we knew her like old friends. I can tell she truly enjoys what she does and even though we didn’t have a big wedding as planned, she turned what we had into something beyond our expectations . We are so thankful to have her as apart of our experience and will 100% recommend her if you are looking for someone to officiate your special day. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I perform contemporary Christian Elopements, Weddings and Vow Renewals starting at $250 Travel fee additional. My brides may add-on: --a custom love story script for $99 or --a Post-ceremony portrait session. Complimentary for my Elopements.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
$100 non-refundable deposit reserves your date in my calendar with the balance due 7 days before the wedding, where time permits.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began on the wedding planning side decades ago, but becoming an Ordained Officiant was the answer to my prayer! So, I've been happily uniting couples since 2017.
